i am pro-title haikus by Tohm Bakelas

Tohm Bakelas is a social worker in a psychiatric hospital. He was born in New Jersey, resides there, and will die there. His poems have appeared in numerous journals, zines, and online publications. He has published 12 chapbooks. He runs Between Shadows Press.

  1. Love it! Bakelas is writing haiku (an old and boring form that usually kisses tradition's ass) that is new and fun and willing to respect the past while looking forward to the future. This guy is someone to keep an eye on!
