If it's all Fancy by Sushant Thapa

What if being a road junkie
Is about the neon and sodium lights,
Trucks and highway stalls,
Empty parks and lonely benches
With tunes of departure and
Love making vagabonds.
The heat of travel must bury the traveler
Under the ground.
But life is lead.
A journey is all it takes to silence
The whistle in your head.
What if being a hermit
Is about the loneliness and
Lack of social charm which needs to be
Fixed later for preaching.
What if being a celebrity
Is all about weekly newspaper headlines,
Flash lights and piano keys;
Lights that always form a shadow
Behind the stage
And where the real mask is cast off.
There is pizzazz and colours
There is a ghost of yesterday.
What if one hates the modernity
And chooses back to the muddy past.
What if being a word master
Is to critic all your life and never know who
Benefited from it.
What if being a leader
Is mistaken for a politician with no plan.
It is all fancy,
A plastic world.
What if true love
Is the one that greets you in the screen.
It is surely hard to fall in such love
If it's all fancy.
